Next, the doctor will take an impression, which serves as the model for your permanent bridge We will fit you with a temporary bridge to wear until your permanent prosthetic arrives from the dental lab. At your next appointment, the dentist will remove your temporary and place the fixed, custom bridge. If you practice proper dental hygiene and schedule regular checkups, a dental bridge can last for years.
